School Rules


Sl No Rules and Regulations ensure a smooth running of the institution and they are formed keeping in view the welfare of children.
1 Admissions to various classes of school start in the first week of April and continue for a fortnight. The admission is made on the recommendation of the admission committee of which the Principal is the Chairman. The registration for admission to various classes remains open from Jan 1st to 15thFeb. The admission test is held in the last week of February. The new admissions continues upto 15th of April depending upon the availability of seats.
2 A student coming from another school must produce a T.C. or S.L.C of the previous school attended by him/her. The parent of student seeking admission to a school for the first time is required to submit an attested photocopy of the Birth Certificate. The attestation of the Birth Certificate has to be made by a first class gazette officer or notary.
3 Four photographs of the child and one photograph of the child with his/her father and mother/guardian has to be submitted to school office at the time of submitting of admission form.
4 A list of books is supplied immediately after admission. The student should make it a point to buy books within a week, and start working in the right earnest otherwise he/she may be asked to withdraw his/her name from school.
5 All school dues i.e. tuition fee etc. must be paid on or before the 15th of every month and a proper receipt obtained for it. In the case of non - payment by the above date, the student will not be allowed to attend classes except with the permission of the Principal. Where the fee is deposited in the bank, it should be deposited by 10th of every month.
6 Fees and fines once paid will in no case be refunded. Fees and Charges are subject to enhancement from time to time.
7 Tuition fee is charged for the vacation period also no reduction is made for broken period.
8 Students are required to pay two months tuition fee in May for May and June Summer and that of February and March in February.
9 The students who break the discipline of the school or misbehave, are liable to be removed from school.
10 Loitering about, making a noise on the school premises is strictly prohibited.
11 Leave application of the students should be got duly signed by his/her parent or guardian failing which he/she will be treated as absent without leave.
12 If a student absents himself for more than six days continuously, his name will be struck off school rolls.
13 It has been observed that children who remain absent or are unpunctual, develop non-serious attitude and continue with these bad habits later in life. In school, they cannot progress satisfactorily because of absence or unpunctuality. Therefore, school discourages these unwanted practices. Students coming late or remaining absent from school are fined Rs. 10/- per day. The students are given three warnings before the imposition of fine.
14 A student intending to leave school, must inform the Principal at least one month in advance in writing otherwise he/she shall have to pay the tuition fee for the current month.
15 Application for School Leaving Certificate should be made on the prescribed form. A prescribed fee is charged for the issue of certificate.
16 School Leaving Certificate is issued to a student only after he/she passes some examination held in school or if he/she was admitted to school after producing a certificate of a recognized school previously attended by him/herr.
17 School Rules are subject to amendments from time and they are binding on all who are students of school.



TRANSPORT RULES



1 All school buses are well equipped with Cameras to ensure utmost care & safety of the children. Lady attendants are present in the buses to escort children till the last stop.
2 Transport facility is available to all the students from Nursery to Class XII. Bus routes cater to students to and from specific areas.
3 Students can avail School Transport subject to the availability of seat.
4 The routes of the school buses are decided by the school and the parents should consult the School Transport In-charge for necessary details.
5 It will be the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their wards reach the pickup points well in time, as the bus will not wait if the student is not at the pickup point in time.
6 In case the student has missed the bus, he/she can board the bus at the next pickup point.
7 DO NOT ASK the driver to return to your stop.
8 Students should travel by their regular bus routes. Each student is expected to board or get down from the school bus only at his/her regular stop, not just anywhere as per his/her convenience.
9 The school does not entertain any request for change in bus routes to suit an individual’s convenience. Change of bus stop for a day or a week is not entertained. As a rule, such requests should not be made.
10 In case of an emergency, parents should take their ward personally from the school with the permission of the Principal. It will be appreciated if such information is sent to the school well in advance.
11 Parents should co-operate with the bus driver and the Bus In-charge.
12 Students commuting by bus should keep in mind-
12.1 To maintain discipline in the bus so that the bus driver’s attention is not distracted.
12.2 Do not jump on or off a moving bus as it is dangerous.
12.3 Do not push each other when getting on or off the bus. Never stand in front of or behind a stationary bus.
13 Students should treat bus Conductors and Drivers with courtesy.
14 Objects of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.

LEAVE AND ATTENDANCE RULES



I) Attendance is marked twice; in the morning and after the recess by the class teacher.
II) A student has to put in a minimum of 75% of attendance during an academic session. This includes attendance put in the previous school if the student has come on transfer. This rule holds good for the physical education class as well.
III) If a student absents himself for more than five days during a month, his/her name is struck off the rolls.
IV) Leave application must be signed by the guardian or parent.
V) The student should get the leave application forwarded by the class-teacher and then get the permission from the 'Principal/Vice Principal.’
VI) A student being late or absent from school will be fined Rs. 100 per day.
VII) Application for long leave or leave during examination days on medical grounds should invariably be supported by a medical certificate.
VIII) Repeated absence without a valid reason renders a student liable to be removed from school.
